| Message from Our New President |
| Dear Members,
As many of you know, I am the new President of the Local 3 Ski Club. I would like to take this opportunity, to thank our club advisor, Business Representative Joe Bechtold, for his faith in my abilities, as well as the opportunity to lead a club I truly love. I also would like to thank our outgoing President Louis Giampa for his years of service. Louie was a founding member of our club, and has been our president since its inception. It has been an honor to serve Louie in my position on The Board of Directors, and an even greater pleasure to Ski with him and get to know him and his family. Our outgoing Treasurer, Pat Rafferty, Was also a founding Member of our club. Pat resigned as Treasurer, in order to allow himself more time to for his many other duties, such as Sword of Light President, as well as his appointment to the Local 3 loan committee, just to name a couple. Pat has done a great job, and served us well as Treasurer, since our clubs inception. |
| Charlie Santorelli, our new Treasurer, is another one of our founders. Charlie has done a great job as our Secretary since the beginning of our club. I have no doubt he will do an equally great job as Treasurer. Charlie has always been the consummate professional, and his advice and input, have been invaluable to the club.
John Cuni, who has been a long time member of The Board of Directors, as well as a trip captain, has taken on the responsibility, of being our new Secretary. John has always been there for the club whenever asked, and has proven himself a great asset to our club. I have every confidence he will be an excellent Secretary. As for myself, I am both humbled and honored, to be able to serve our membership as President. I pledge to serve with honesty and integrity, while always keeping the wants and needs of our membership in mind when making all decisions. I would like to thank you all for the many well wishes and encouragement I have received since taking over. It truly means a lot to me. Fraternally Yours, Bob Cummings President, Local # Ski Club |
