| TIPS FOR AVOIDING JET LAG 1. Start changing your body"s clock a week or two before your trip, gradually adjusting your eating and sleeping schedule in the direction of the one you adopt in Europe. 2. Dehydration and bloating can become problems on long flights. Drink lots of water, skip the alcohol and do an occasional lap through the plane aisles. 3. Absolutely, positively, without question, do not allow yourself a nap upon arrival. Keep yourself awake until at least eleven (11) pm the first two nights after arrival. You may not sleep a full eight hours the first night, but you'll feel a lot better for the rest of the week. |
